The author of the manuals (in Italian language) and the Quizzes is Loris ASSI.
He has been working as a consultant on Oracle database since 2000 and he has 6 Oracle certifications:
- OCP DBA Oracle 10g
- OCP DBA Oracle 9i
- OCP DBA Oracle 8i
- OCA PL/SQL Programmer Oracle 9i
- OCE DBA Oracle 10g on Linux
- OCE DBA Oracle 10g RAC

Loris ASSI has been working in Milan as:
- Oracle DBA since 2005: in Enel, CartaSi, Reply, Vodafone, Eni (the biggest italian company)
- PL/SQL Developer from 2000 to 2004: in Seat Pagine Gialle (YellowPage website), Galbani

He is not working for Oracle Corporation and he has no connection with it.
From November 2005 to June 2006 he lived in London.
